What's the Combination Class ? Our combination class is a blend of 5th and 6th grade students working and learning side by side for a majority of the day. Students are however still afforded the opportunity to work with their grade level peers for math and for our "Middle School Block" model. During this time students split into two 5th grade sections and two 6th grade sections and rotate between science, social studies, language, and either art or Spanish at the high school. This not only allows for interaction between all 5th and 6th graders, but begins to prepare them for when they transition to the high school. |
